I'm a bit sad this didn't do better. I thought the humor would resonate.
Setup included a .22 rifle on my bed, propped with pillows. The sign is printed out on paper (I spent way too much time finding a font), and is connected to an extend-o thingy that it used to pick up screw. The extend-o thingy wouldn't fit in the barrel, so it's actually affixed to the barrel with some Quake Hold.
Then lighting. I had a flash coming from camera right, with a honeycomb, to point the light to the sign. The background is lit via the long-ish exposure and natural light filtering through the window.
