I see what you were going for here, but it just doesn't jive well for me. Too much out of focus on the food. Too much strange blotchiness in the background.

this has the starting of a good composition, and I believe you could have done more with it too much wasted grey space and uninteresting stalks.could have filled space with red and grabbed the eyr
