This old chest sat in my parent's basement for many years filled with odds & ends belonging to my mom. When my dad passed, my mom moved to a smaller place so this chest went into storage - forgotten about for years. We recently had occasion to go to the storage unit for another item when I spied this guy sitting in the corner. I asked my mom if I could take him home (I love beat up old furniture) and she said yes, so here he is. My Chester :) It's amazing how these old pieces can give a room so much warmth.
