This is one that has grown on me. I always liked the scene and, of course, the bird, but I kept wishing it was just a little better focused somewhere in the landscape. And I am not sure about the white glow around the bird. But the scene is so very nice, I have to bump a bit. 8
Beautiful landscape, fading from black to ethereal, overflown and studied by a bird (hawk?) leisurely exiting the frame. Terrific tones, grain and composition. A favorite.
Much to love about this one. I really like the detail of the splayed feathers in the wing contrasted by the fading detail of the landscape. The nice progression of dark to light. Admirably handled.
Pity about the halo on the bird. I can show you how to fix it lickety-split, if that would be helpful; or did you just not notice? Great shot, wonderful how we have a bird in flight but no sky. 8
