Your submission must be taken after the challenge is announced and before the deadline, based on the Current Server Time (US Eastern Standard Time) displayed at the bottom of every page on this site. You must ensure that your camera date and time are correctly set to your local time zone before shooting your entry. If the date recorded in your original image file is not within the specified challenge dates, your entry will be disqualified -- NO exceptions!

At least now you have your date stamp set properly on the Nikon :-) Sorry about this, cool image.

Yes I sat my camera date, either A. I took the battery out and it resat or I'm a total idiot... It was set two days forward, so the shots I took of the texture for this appeared to be shot the day after the challenge started... Not to mention I did NOT set the daylight savings time... Now this is the same camera I took the point n shoot shot with, I guess I got lucky and the two days ahead worked then, thinking there were some more I've submitted with the new D7100, but prob didn't have to get validated... sigh Life is good even if your an idiot!
This is my Mounted shooting buddy, his poor back was killing him, he's ready to pull a gun and go, There is a Wheres Waldo moment in this thing,,,,, I didn't notice until the contest was open, see the piece of sleeve that appears ripped and hanging??? Well OOOOPS that should be the sleeve on his shirt for his RIGHT hand... the original is so dark, and icky I really thought he had ripped his shirt! LOL Did Anyone figure that out?? I see no 1, nor 2,3 maybe the 4's noticed it?? Just curious If you did see it Raise your hand!
I like the close crop on the cowboy here, and his expression which could originate from any number of emotions. I also like the artistic background treatment.
