The clouds were very uncooperative this week. We mostly had dark, flat, gray featureless skies. On the last day of the competition things cleared, and as I rode the train home I wondered if I could figure out an interesting cloud shot. My stop, the last on the line, is just a few blocks from the Bahá'í temple in Wilmette. So, I walked over.
There was not much to work with -- only a few sparse clouds, but I liked the contrast of the textured dome and the puffy cloud.
I know sadly little of the Bahá'í faith, but they have only eight continental Houses of Worship and one more under construction. All are pretty impressive structures. I am lucky I have one so close.
