At the Koi Pond near the iconic bridge in the Japanese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The carp swim close to the surface under stone bridges across the pond. I stayed there for a while watching the dance of the fish just beneath the surface and the play of the light on their backs, working slower and slower and letting the camera follow their movements until I was left with just the impression of their passing.
