I'm so glad I stopped on my way to the Bansko ski center, just after crossing the border. The whole valley was covered in thick fog, all the way to Greece in the south, and north probably up to Sofia, as far as the eye could see! This scene is where the fog crawled on the mountain side, making these endless layers of trees and ridges bathing in magical light. It was breathtaking. The 70-300, the lazy lens for the lazy photographer, did a good job here. Interesting how it didn't produce any flare.
Just saw that this is also a PB, finally the lonely boat was knocked off 1st place :).

Another good B&W image i have come across love the depth of field the fog/cloud which covers the mountains i like how the rolling hills peak through the fog/cloud good composition and detail ..Well done
