Winds picked up at sunrise. 01/28/14 7:11am (official sunrise in Estes Park was 7:14am. The peaks grab the sunrise light before it hits the lower elevations of the valley. That makes the rose colored light, "Alpenglühen") This is Upper Moraine Park from Fern Lake TH road, RMNP. The highest peak is Stone's Peak. Canon 5Dmk3, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, f/8, 1/200s, ISO 800, lens focal length 105mm.
Wonderful landscape image i like the compsoition and detail good color blend and i like how the sun is hitting the peaks of the mountains a some cloud cover rolling over gives too good effect ..Well done
