Just going through this challenge now, and this one really pops! I love the texture on the stalk which looks rather like an old nail. Great BW conversion.
Macros come in many shapes, but one breed that really stands out to me is when the mundane is so close and vivid it can instill a sense of panic. This is immediate, in our faces. And it's an... apple. Excellently done.
