I am surprised this scored as low as it did. It's techically well executed, and certainly meets the challenge. I did not vote this challenge, but would have given you a 6.
That said, it just seems to lack the impact to take it to a higher score. What is the photo trying to say to the viewer? It seems to be a rather flat depiction of... parts. The diffuse lighting and relatively static composition combine to leave an impression of "nothing happening here."
I also fall into this trap of having a well-executed photo, but missing any emotional message.
