The bird appears a little grey / washed out - maybe a quick blast with the contrast might bring him out a little bit. it being a members challenge, i might have been tempted to clone out the uppermost part of the trees, as they're not particularly well captured and are a bit distracting. it's also a bit of a pity you couldn't get closer, because he looks lovely. 5.

Maybe a little soft and overexposed. I've been trying to get a close up of these guys for sometime, but to no avail.

You've managed to capture an interesting bird in what appears to be the wild. Unfortunately the quality of the image isnt the best. The bird itself seems to have two tones, almost like you tried to recover details in the shadows (the tail feathers) and it just lightened them up unnaturally. The bird is quite a distance away and so there are hardly any details to be seen and it looks quite soft. Although having the foliage in there gives a sense of location they are mostly blurry and seem more like a distraction.

It seems like a lot of detail is missing from the underside of the bird. Possibly the effect of a high iso film or too much noise reduction.

Need more zoomed in version, plus its not very clear. Backlighting is not good here
