Taken at the Beachwood Cemetery on The National Wreath Laying Dec 1st 2013. It was a very emotional ceremony. I had the privilege of speaking to a retired veteran who was wearing a button with a picture of a young soldier. He talked about how important this ceremony was to him and how it was bigger than that of Nov. 11th for he and his family. I asked him if the it was a picture of his son and he said no it was his nephew who returned from Afghanistan. He committed suicide just months after returning. It was heartbreaking. We talked some more and then parted ways. He turned back and thanked me for being there...It is I who is thankful...
