I had a lot of fun at lunch time this week when I went walking in the woods of Mount-Royal in Montreal to take some "wildlife" shots. I put "wildlife" in quotes because I know this little friend here is far from being as wild as a lion or an aligator. Nonetheless, even though he was very stressed to be around me and running all the time, I was able to freeze him that way.
Crop and small color adjustments.

Thats real natural environment. Bit too mich croped on tail :)... would like other angle too cuz of tree on his head but i guess he dont sit still for long.
I like the lighting. You've got a few hotspots in the background but it's not too contrasty, and it's nice and even on the chipmunk. The natural environment is well established with the amount of background you have. The composition is good with the tree, tail, body, and other tree leading the eye nicely around the image. You've got good coloring on the chipmunk and there is good texure on the fur. The catchlight in the eye is good too. Cute little guy!
