I think you will get the anti pet lobby going here, needs to be a little better focus to get away with this shot, good luck.

THis seems a bit oof, and the red on the carped under the cat almost makes it look like it's bleeding.

Cute. I like the composition a lot! But I have two big complaints. First, the lighting is bad. It's flat and harsh, probably an on-camera flash (YUCK!). Second, it has bad focus. Notice on the right side of the cat its hair is in sharp focus but its face is blurry.

This is out of focus, but I guess you know that already. I can't see how your choice of making this out of focus is supporting the photo in any way...
