This image has loads of potential - an excellent scene - very graceful pose of the bird. But I'm afraid your post processing technique to give the water an orange cast is way too obvious: a) With the lighting as shown - the bird's would be more of a sihlouette - not so white. b) You can see the "real" colors through the brances of the shrubs, around the rocks, and around the bird's legs.

Looks like the colour saturation was pushed up too far on thie one. The rocks look purple and the crane looks blue. Nice composition. 6 - floyd

I really like this. I love the golden water. I think I would have chosen to crop out a little more of the foreground bring even more focus in on the bird. Leave the trees in there. I kind of like silouhettes in there. 8

Amazing capture of this still stealth bird (one of my favorites) - love the brilliant white against the stunning sunset.
