Wow,s o many options. I have a number of great tree photos from the same morning as the Winter Solstice entry. But I had the week off work, so I kept trying. Friday morning came around with the perfect winter morning weather: fog, hoar frost, and sun light! Normally a great day is two of those three. This was a perfect day.
I rode around for hours, taking photos of different scenes. Each one seemingly better than the last. In fact, this is the last scene of the morning. I was heading home when I saw a side road in which the hoar frost was heavier than any other place I encountered on this morning.
So I pulled in, and took a number of shots. My favorite is similar to this scene, but is panoramic to it more than the 24mm allows. But that's not allowed in the Advanced Editing ruleset, so this wonderful photo is what we get.
Another one which is likely to make in on my wall.

Lovely tree-filled winter scene. It invites you right in. It's a privilege to see this through the photographer's eyes. A path through the central depression and now you have a story.
