 So, it should be pretty obvious what I did here. I took a pier of black construction paper, and cut out a star. Then de-focused on my christmas tree, and zoom across the entire 100-400 range while the shutter was open.

It actually took a couple dozen shots to get it just right. I really enjoy the end result :)
