If this photo has to have meaning and intention, I'd venture that there's more life to uprooted or torn off vegetation than to mere reflections of life. Or maybe this plant can be saved, as it doesn't look dead. Maybe it's something else or something more subtle and difficult to pin down. Maybe it's just interesting and/or pretty. One wonders.
