I feel like I made some real progress lately with my black and white printing, culminating with this -- one of the most involved prints I've made to date. The print is 12x8 on Ilford MGIV RC paper (with a slight left/right crop because it was too large for my scanner). I dodged much of the foliage and burned in parts of the sky. I used a grade 3 print filter (dichroic).
Yashica T5, Ilford Pan F Plus (ISO 50) developed in Ilford Perceptol (stock), an extra fine grain developer.

thanks. the play of light and dark bounces me all over the photo. I experience the sun/flower rather than see it. dynamic. hmn, what would you do with a brush and some paint?
