I don't expect anyone to decipher the title (well, maybe some of the Aussies might). The chunks of meat are 'wombaroo', an animal we ran over on an interstate road trip. (I think it was a wombat, my son, who was driving, thought it was a kangaroo - but it was very compact, no legs or tail apparent. Of course, as it was already dead, it might have lost those bits to whatever hit it first.)
The significance to 'beginning of the end' is really that it (probably) caused some tail shaft damage to the car which eventually made us have to stop and call up some back up.
When I shot this I was concentrating on the pieces of animal tissue, surprised that they had clung on for about 200 kilometres of traveling.(And generously distributed over the length of the car, the trailer behind and even the car being transported on the trailer.) Then I found that my son, inspecting the damage and trying to work out what was wrong with the car, was clearly visible. It makes for a totally different interpretation of the shot - that this could be the beginning of the end of a poor human victim.
