I have to say that months ago I had found this farm and Jenne Farm in one of my many, many searches for Vermont. And what to photography while we were visiting. It sure helped to have the challenge announced the week before....wink
The day was very, very windy and overcast. Which made the lighting on this near to perfect. I have have since found out that Steven Tyler used to own this property (not sure if he still does).
I had a fantastic week vawendy flew in to meet us...then Bear_Music, PennyClick and her sister joined us. They all helped me with this. A HUGE thank you to all of them. I can not believe that it's at 7.97...I think I have watched each and every vote come in (well, almost).
Later in the week Hot_Pixel and Denise joined us... cryanjoined us when Bear and PennyClick was there.
It was the most freaking fabulous week of vacation...I learned quite a bit from each and everyone. It was funny to have all our computers lined up and talking about this software and that application...just fabulous. I'm really close Bear_Music to purchasing the PS CS/6...really, really close...
I LOVE DPC...Thank you so very much for your votes and for being the very best friends....

An old one, but so worth revisiting. I love that the landscape is so similar, but at the same time so different to Britain's. It's the human elements that mark it out - the wooden buildings against our stone, the simple wooden rail against our hedges or stone walls. perfectly composed.
I knew, even from the full page of entry thumbnails, that this would win. Outstanding, gorgeous, perfectly edited. Well, how could it NOT be with such a team of consultants :-)
Janine! Look who hit the ball outta the park!!!! Congrats on such a capturing such a beautiful picture and the ribbon! Love the leading lines and the fall colors in this photo. Congrats as well on the super duper PB!
Congrats. Well deserved Blue....oh, and I know where this farm is!
I wish I had known you were all meeting up in VT. That is my neck of the woods and I would have loved to see you all. I am glad you had a great time on the GTG.
