Yet another picture that appears to have the dreaded flash-flood problem. The on-camera flash really ruins a lot of great pictures. Colors and textures are ruined by it.

would have been more effective with an extra light source from the side to avoid the shadow and to soften the flash a bit in order to intensify the colors

cool, angle...but the flash killed it.... a long exposure with ambiant light would have made this shot exiting.
