Will be interesting to see how this is received at DPC. Very successful over at 500px where it made the popular gallery and, as of today (8th August), is standing at 89.9, which surprised me a lot.

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.
This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. Made me start humming The Cure's 'Love Cats'. "Into the sea, you and me..."
2. Great use of perspective.
3. Lovely conversion.
4. The inclusion of the bird top left offer wonderful visual resonance given your title.
