I like the way Robert takes mundane objects and processes them to emphasize interesting textures and shapes. That's the approach I chose to celebrate his 1,000 challenge submission. WTG sweetie! As he quite often does when he is in this particular "incarnation" of his style I used NIK Viveza, Topaz Simplify, then NIK CEP, and finally NIK SEP in luminosity mode.

When I saw it for the first time I thought it was Bear's because I noticed before that he likes objects like this. Plus the picture itself looks really good. You do know his spirit. That's really heartwarming! :)
You know my spirit well, don't you? I love the ordinary, everyday, dilapidated objects of the world, even if they rarely score well in DPC :-) (Commenting only)
Funny. The eye works from top left in a reading motion (for we Westerners), so I read Grab Handle in large letters, and then Grab Handle again in bold in the explanation of what the Grab Handle is... and at this point I'm thinking this title sure as heck should be Grab Handle and tadaaa... Grab Handle! Nicely titled!
Great tones, well composed and framed. Great photo from seemingly nothing.
