 Would have liked a dramatic sunrise, but I didn't get one. I did find lots of Egrets hanging out at the wetlands park, which is currently undergoing construction so they can control the water levels. I guess the beavers haven't been doing a good enough job. But I love the park, and hadn't been there since February (pre-ankle break), and I love Robert's wetland scenes, so this is where I wanted to shoot for this challenge.

PP - converted from RAW, straightened, cropped, levels, CEP (tonal contrast, detail extractor, midnight filter in green), desaturated birds, resized, sharpened.

It's a lovely quote, and a striking scene, but there's a flatness to it that's disturbing.
