Wonderful details on the butterfly and love the angle where you see this beautiful insect framed by the leaf and the pink flower in the backdrop. I like the colors too - a little faded to give a sense of age. The texture overlay is something I'm not sure really works. While it gives some good texture feel to the leaf it makes the backdrop rather busy and in a way overpowering. I wonder what this would look like if the opacity was lowered to be more subtle or if another texture would have given a better balance. |
