The reason that I gave this a lower score is because it is hard to make out what we are looking at. Some colour alteration via a photo editing program would have resulted in a much higher score. For suggestions just send me a message, and I can show you what I mean. jgillard4
I like patterns in nature, but sometimes capturing them can be difficult. I think this photo is difficult to rate high because there is not distinguishable pattern,and because there is minimal clarity and focus to the image.
This one seems a bit soft and fuzzy--under exposed.A little tweaking with your photo program would bring out the nicely contrasting hills and valleys.I like the subject,just needs some definition.
I can't decide if this a photo taken from the air (hills and valley), or from the ground (bumps in the snow). Nice use of light and shadows to create pattern and texture.
