Ouch... that was a misinterpretation of the challenge. Yes, I knew it was a stretch to interpret the naturally black (relative lack of illumination) background but I liked the cat's face too much.

You captured the very bright light rather nicely, however there isn't much shadow unless you count the background brought into shadow through underexposure.
