IN my mind when I looked through the gallery of his work, I saw colours. I thought this shot fitted the theme as it had several colours in it. My bad , I can see why and where I went wrong now. Had to be bright, stark colours, no interpretation to that theme.

I like this image, but it seems a big stretch from the images in New Happiness. That being said, I like the texture and the reflection and I can see a wispy link to MacDonald's images. A nice image and good effort gets a 6 from me.
I really like this image. I don't think it necessarily meets the challenge as far as "McDonald's New Happiness," but photographically, is one of the best photos. So congrats on a successful shoehorn.
After the riot of color before this image, I feel like I've entered a sanctuary! A beautiful image which will likely not do as well as it would in another challenge.
