Yup, the door is actually painted this color. In fact, all of the doors in the building are a pastel of colors. It's pretty cool.
I took two photos, in short succession of each other, for this challenge. After I got home and edited them, I showed my wife the gallery, and then both of the photos. She claimed this one was a better match because it has more character with the hinge and the grain of the wood. I'm inclined to agree, but we will see :)
This was a fun challenge to shoot for and think about. I have often thought about doing photos like these, but then never really acted upon it. This is a style I can really get behind, and probably do more of.

Top six - great find, well framed. Love the lime with the natural wood tones. Not as gritty as most but the lines, shapes and textures appeal to me. 9 Voted earlier, back to comment.
