Set up the camera on the escalator and ran in front of it, using remote shutter. During one of my several rides up and down the escalator, someone distracted me, I turned around, and watched my tripod tip over and my camera smacked the ground full-force. Scared the hell out of me! Luckily somehow I didn't break anything. I think I have my fisheye's permanent hood to thank for nothing actually breaking...
