This is an excellent example of choosing one subject and not being distracted by other "interesting" things in the picture (like showing the ocean or the waves, or color in the rocks, etc.) The outline is very interesting - this is a great capture.
A great idea. It would be so much better if you had tried to reduce the extreme brightness of the view and made it more contrasty. That would not in any way devalue the effect of the silhouette.
