 Graveyard at Ficksburg Eastern Free State and these are graves of British soldiers who did not die in action but of illnesses and accidents during the Anglo Boer War of 1899 - 1902.
They died for King (Edward) and country (South Africa) definitely not for their Empire (Britain).
