Messsing around with the technique I used for the "Photograph Becomes A Painting".
Fused three exposures using Photomatix (kinda HDR) took the resulting image, copied it and added gaussian blur to the copy - then re-fused the copy with the original. Into Nikon Capture NX for a spot of colour curve and saturation editing.
The colors are very intense. Thanks for sharing the post processing technique - I wish doing so had been an "official" part of the challenge as I would have loved to have more details about many of the entries.
I like the composition of the photograph but I am not fond of the painting effect. The red mixed out in the trees and such makes the photo feel angry and off for me.
