the lighting of the resturaunt i was in was exactly the way you see it.. it was freaky, which is why i took a bunch of photos of it.. it was my g-parents anniversary
it looks like you were in a restaurant and had a deadline for a film class an hour from then, so you took a picture ice cream because there was nothing else. you have bad style
This is a nicely framed shot with a good subject, but it needs white balance! You could set the white point to the plate or table cloth in a curves adjustment in photoshop, but the best thing to do would be to set the white balance with the camera before you take the shot - it will be much less yellow
