Aaaah.. I really messed this up. I planned to take the picture at dusk so there are less people walking around but I didn't realise that the faces of the clocks are light. That's why they always came overexposed or the background underexposed. So I shot with bracketing which allowed me to use HDR to fix this one: . However the challenge is Basic Editing so I tried to use tone mapping to get the same effect but the results were far off...
