 I was about to call a halt to my evening's so-so attempt at street photography when this guy (a total stranger) walked through the archway dressed in black and wearing a hat. I thought OMG I have to get a photo of this. He looked uncertain when I asked to take his photo but then said OK. After that I couldn't get him to stop smiling for the camera. In the end I just said look sideways.

The profile against the lighted part of the arch plus the long coat, blowing, and the stance make this very effective. Top five for me. Voted earlier. Back to comment.
