Ok -- so I searched and Piñatas are in fact used for Cinco de Mayo parties. So we had this Piñata in our closet for about 7 years, that we bought at la tienda and never used. So it was time to pull it out.
I just kept thinking of all the America's Funniest Home Videos, where the proud daddy is filming the kid -- completely oblivious of where he's standing and where the kid is swinging.
Yes -- I realize that there should have been better movement on the kid, but I really did want the oblivious dad placement on the shot.
It probably would have been better if the Piñata wasn't truck shaped, but after 7 years, this Piñata was getting used!!
Not staying up for rollover on this one. It may or may not be my first 4 in the past 265 challenges -- but I don't need to stay up another 3 hours to find out. :)

Nothing wrong with the piñata here (never heard about it before) but looking at jcar's photo there's not much left of it. I guess the main problem with this photo is the lack of food :)

good idea, execution needs a lot more work to be more convincing. There is no sense of suddenly stopped movement on either person's part, they're just standing there. No tension in the stick-holder's arms, no effort on the cameraman's part to dodge or block the stick.
