i think your image blows away the inspiration image.
If i were to put the 2 side by side and not know, i'd say his was the 2nd shot inspired by this.
truly deserved a higher finish placement-wise in my opinion. a 6.6 and it's placement in a free study are still fantastic though, great image!
This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)
Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.
This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. Pristine image. Focus and clarity are startling.
2. Really interesting lighting. Five sources? The four with gels and a kick light? The combination is likely shooting under UV!
