It is wildflower season in California, and there are no wildflowers!!! Drove an hour each way to a well-known wildflower area to capture rolling hills festooned with poppies and lupine. Instead, it was pathetically bare, save for isolated tufts scattered far and wide. I was fortunate enough to find this one patch in a picturesque setting.

I can't see a field of poppies without hearing the Wicked Witch of the West in my head LOL! Beautifully dreamy.might have more impact for me with a tighter crop.
The hills look lovely when the poppies blossom and blanket them during the spring. I think the one suggestion I have that would help improve this shot is to tone down the glamor or guassian blur layer for it adds too much softness & glow that it takes away from the natural beauty.
