Nice touch of light in the eye. Nice serious expression - sombre but not depressed. Nice choice of toning colour. Lighting creates some lovely shadows that make some wonderful shapes.

I like these kind of shots with the moody lighting..out of curiousity Tony (now that it looks like I`ll be joining the Canon team)..what lens did you use for the shot..50mm 1.8?
