Dropped close to .2 in the last 24 hours. So instead of posting cute photographer notes, I'm going to go off and pout.
(Either that or I'm really tired, and all I remember was that this was really frustrating, so I tried this a couple of times, gave up. Tried flowers a couple of times, but kept getting the flower the wrong size, and getting an extra petal in the refraction. Gave up. Tried a clock and a wine glass, gave up.
Tried a cat and a wine glass,

notice, you don't move the cat -- you move the wine glass. It doesn't work trying to move the cat.
Actually, notice that it doesn't work moving the wine glass either!
Finally gave up and realized that I had a happy face that wasn't too bad.
Needless to say, I think I'll be avoiding refraction shots in the future -- they're just too difficult!!! Huge kudos to the people who know how to do these right. I may have lucked out, but I sure don't feel I've figured it out.
But I'm not going to post all of that, because my beautiful 7.12+ score dropped .2 in the last 24 hours. Otherwise you would have heard the story of trying to do a wineglass and a cat shot. :)
Thanks for all the incredible comments!

Fabulous image. Seen this technique before with the water drop on dandelion seed but this is fun and DMC. Would be good too if the crop was tighter only on the primary subject.
