The heavy border is distracting to my eye... It gives too much weight to the black portions of the lower right of the image.
Otherwise this is a really cool photo.

I don't think any one element of this shot - high contrast, the leaf texture, fly silhouette..,... - makes it a great capture. It's all of the elements in harmony that make it. Well done.
