The boy's pose and expression is very nice. The background and shirt detract from the main subject.

the look on your young model's face makes this shot -- background is very distracting (chair and wall) I know it's impossible some times to just get the key elements but just the main subject and the stuffed dog would really be excellent.

nice picture. i think it would be better if you had removed the frame and other things that are cut off on the left side. also, i think it would be better if you had taken it in front of a cleaner uncluttered background (like a bedsheet or something) so that it doesn't take away from the image. or maybe if you could have brought the chair closer and possibly blurred out the background or something.

The background is very distracting, would be better w/out the light zones on the chair.
