I submitted this at the last minute. Only after I saw it during voting did I realize I had one or more problems. One problem I have diagnosed is my CS6 default for saving to web being in different color space than my processing was done in, the other is my very bright new monitor, which I need to get calibrated better. It didn't help that the processing on Robert's image, clearly taken at the same location, was spot on!!

It's a beautiful shot, but an "EV" bump of a stop or two might have kept that snow from being grey.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO This is AWESOME!!! Sand n snow wow.. the little cabins against the sky ... well this is just sooo nice!! I want to be there!!!
