Love this. The light is great as are the textures. I even like the leading line of the leash though I must admit I would be tempted to take it out and lose a little from the bottom. I see bsluijk suggested a different crop. It's one I would play with for sure :)
Fun shot, I like it. To me this is about with harmonizing textures. Come to think of it, this might get even stronger with further simplification (one of my hobby horses these days) by cropping out the curb on the right, which would also help to put the dog off-center.
LOL. My first thought was...."Cell phone camera!" I've been experimenting with mine a lot lately, and getting some nice stuff, totally different than what I get with my "big" camera. This is a great use of the tool.
