I bought this bunch of gerberas for $3.99 at Trader Joe's not thinking of this challenge. Once I learned of Shez's passing, I felt I could not pass up this challenge as I loved looking at her bright and vivid photos. Plus, I grew up not far from where she lived and often swam at the beaches near her home. This one was to honour her photo titled 'Golden Petals' as she loved Gerberas

This was taken next to a window using natural light, against a posterboard in the background.

R.I.P Shez

Thank you for your wonderful entry into the Shez Tribute. Shez would love to have seen it and I'm sure she feels your love.

Absolutely glows with life, just like Shez. Very tasteful.

Beautiful captured flower. I like the colors and details, although I would prefer a less gray background.

THE COLOUR IN THIS GERBERA DAISY REALLY POPS ON THE GREY BACKGROUND.

A beautiful splash of sunshine! Very sharp and crisp. Wonderfully focused! Wish the background wasn't grey though.

There are many, many images of flowers at DPC. Occasionally, one stands above the crowd. This is one of them. I really like the neutral background.
