So, thinking about "falling apart" meant "deconstruction" to me. All my ideas led to things flying apart. I decided to deconstruct something a little different, and had this idea right away. Unfortunately, I didn't get to shooting it until mid-afternoon of roll-over. I'm not sure it's quite what I had in mind, but it's kind of interesting. The window edge is intentional because I wanted a sense of place, but will most likely draw all sorts of criticism for being distracting.
The shoot itself was pretty quick, as it was shot in natural light, and editing wasn't too bad. What took longest was extracting each element from it's shot. All told, there are 14 different pieces, including the background.

I like fresh and different and I adore oranges so this got a nice score from me. Simple enough to be taken in easily but complicated enough to hold my interest a moment. Nice.
