Really am tired. No power for 3 days from snow storm (slept on the living room floor) then went on a 2 night, 3 day camping trip (slept on the ground with a foam bed roll in 20 degree weather). My enthusiasm for getting a portrait done was on the thin side. :-)

I'm always torn about this type of lighting. I really like the drama of it, but in this case, I wish there was even an inkling of detail in the dark. I really do love the opposing gradient in the bg.
